Need to fly to Kansas City IMMEDIATELY!?
MY grandfather is near death and my husband and I need to travel to Missouri to see him. My husband is in the military and will only be allowed 5 days off - we need to book a flight today but the tickets will total over $1000.00! What can we do?! It is SO expensive!

I would say try booking through my airline, but we don't offer any kind of bearvement fares. Have you thought about renting a car or taking a train? Try using sidestep.com, but make sure you read all the fine print before you purcahse. Tickets from online agencies are usually very restrictive!

type in"airlines bereavement" in the "search for questions"box. you should be able to find an airline that will help you...you will have to speak directly to a customer service rep from the airline.

try Airtran they are the cheapest but they are not the best airling out their. i hate to tell you but if you are trying to book a ticket today then yes it will be expensive

You can book your flights with American Airlines.... They offer brevement fairs they also offer the payment plan option for this fare... But since your husband is in the military book the flights through them
