Do pilots switch planes after every flight?
For example: If I'm flying direct from Providence to Dallas, with a stop in Kansas City, does the pilot stay on board or do they get off during the stop in Kansas City?

It all depends on the schedule that the pilots have. They may or may not leave the aircraft. It has to do with the federal air regulations and the number of hours that they can fly in one day. So, don't be surprised either way it goes.
