Kansas City Arpt Question?
I am flying on a United Express flight from ORD-MCI, then have an hour layover, and then going on a Midwest flight from MCI-SEA. United Express and Midwest both share the same terminal, but since Midwest Airlines doesn't go to ORD, I won't be able to get my boarding pass before my United flight. How do I get from Terminal A after my United flight to Midwest Airlines checkin?

MCI isn't that big so you won't have a problem. People in Kansas City are friendly and talkative so if you are unsure, ask someone. They will happily steer you in the right direction. Don't worry.

Since they are in the same terminal, it shouldn't be a problem. The terminals at KCI are each shaped like a large horse shoe, so as you exit the secured area, you can either go right or left (straight forward about 20 or 30 feet will take you outside to the curb!) It looks like you will want to turn right. KCI has a pretty good site, with an interactive map. Find it here: http://www.flykci.com/AirportService/29/Index.htm Zoom in on Terminal A, select Airlines, then select United and Midwest to see where their respective counters and gates are. A summary - it looks like United has gates 10-12, with baggage claim near gate 12. Midwest has gates 23-30, with a ticket counter near gate 21. The gates are labeled counter-clockwise, as seen from above.
