36 minute layover, but what if the plane is delayed?
I'm flying from kansas city to san francisco but I have a 36 minute layover in salt lake city. I was just kind of wondering what would happen if the plane from kc to sl was delayed and I missed my flight to san Francisco? Would I be able to get on another plane? or would I have to buy a new ticket. My sister and I are flying together. I'm 15 and she is 14. So that's really the only thing I'm worried about. Also Will we be considered UM's? We will be flying delta on skyway airlines. I was an UM when I flew a few years ago and it sucked getting on the plane last, getting off the plane last, and those freaking people won't leave you alone! Anyway Thanks! =]]

The airline will get you on the next flight assuming you are catching a flight with them. You may still be considered UMs, it depends on the airline. They will probably accompany you through security right to the gate.

If your flight is delayed, an you miss the connection, the airline will do eveything it can to get you on the next possible flight.

You are not unaccompanied minors. Your sister should thank you immensely as you made the cutoff at age 15, and at age 14 she would be one if it wasn't for you. Now that said, if the plane you will be among the first group of passengers rebooked. Delta will do what ever is necessary to get you to SF.. I suggest you listen very carefully as you are landing in LSC as to what gate you will need to go to get the second flight, and move quickly to get there. if you are even 1 percent unsure you are going the wrong way, top and ask someone. have a great flight.
