What is the most convenient way to travel from Los Angeles to Kirksville, MO?
I am going to Kirksville, MO, in October for an interview, but I am having difficulty finding flights that get to Kirksville, MO. My initial plan is to fly into a larger airport like Kansas City International, then find a second way to get to Kirksville. Can those of you who have traveled from LA to Kirksville, or are familiar with the area, give me suggestions? I would like to get to Kirksville in the shortest amount of time spent on the road/sky. Leave by car from LA on Interstate 10 going east. Exit to Interstate 40 and go east to St. Louis. Interstate 40 turns into Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City .At St. Louis exit at 270 North and go to Hwy 70 West past St. Charles, Missouri. A few miles past St. Charles go North on Hwy 61 to Hannibal, Mo. and left at Hwy 36. Follow hwy 36 to Macon, turn right on Hwy 63. Go north on 63 for about 30 miles into Kirksville. By plane - Fly to St. Louis, Missouri and rent a car at the airport and follow Hwy 70 west to 61, north to 36, west on 36 to 61 north to Kirksville. Good Luck!
